Go Islamorada fishing for Bonefish and Tarpon in the FL Keys.
Islamorada, Key Largo, Florida Keys
Florida Keys light tackle fishing and fly fishing with Capt. Randy Stallings. Come with me and we'll fish the crystal clear flats or the dark mysterious waters of the Islamorada backcountry for some of the fastest, strongest, most ferocious fish you can imagine!
The Florida Keys and Everglades are home to some of the most sought after game fish in the world. I specialize in shallow water sight fishing for Bonefish, Tarpon, Permit, Redfish and of course the backcountry brawler the Snook! While Fly fishing for these prized game fish is my preferred method I will also provide light spinning and bait casting tackle for those that do not fly fish. I have two boats that I fish from. For the flats fishing I use my Dolphin Super skiff, which is one of the best technical polling skiffs ever made. I only fish one or two people on this boat. I also have a 22ft. Ranger Bay boat which I use when live bait fishing or when Islamorada fishing the deeper channels and flats. I can fish up to four people on this boat.Im a trailer guide which means I can launch anywhere depending on conditions and species that you want to target. Please browse through my Website and call with any questions you might have.
Thank you,
Capt. Randy Stallings
Florida Keys Tarpon Fishing
Tarpon fishing in the Florida Keys and Everglades is awesome! Fish of 50lbs to 200lbs can be seen traveling the oceanside flats and backcountry lakes. In April, May and June thousands of big Tarpon invade the keys and Everglades as part of their annual spawning ritual. Fly fishing for these giant Tarpon is the most exciting and demanding type of fishing there is,and it's what I specialize in. Imagine standing on the bow of my skiff casting to a school of 100lbers in 4ft. of gin clear water. It doesn't get any more exciting!!
I also do early morning and evening, live bait Tarpon trips. These are 4 hour trips in islamorada. We target the thousands of Tarpon that live around the deeper channels. Using live blue crabs or mullet, we anchor or drift our baits in and around the channels. This is a very effective way of catching the Silver King if your not into Fly fishing.
Islamorada Bonefish Fishing
The Florida keys, specifically the Islamorada area is known for having the largest Bonefish in the world. Tailing fish in two feet of water... Capable of ripping off hundreds of yards of line from your reel in seconds! Wild, uncontrollable fish that you will never forget.
Big Bonefish are what I dream about, and what I specialize in. I prefer to Bonefish the "classic" way... Polling across the flats, fishing from a state of the art flats skiff, hunting/stalking our fish with either fly fishing or spinning tackle. On the average day of fishing you will see fish that are 10lbs, and every now and then when conditions are right you will be casting to fish that are 13 to 14lbs. It's sight fishing at its highest level.
